Giving Confidence, Hope and Style

Happy Monday ladies. I hit the mall over the weekend for a bit of spring shopping and had a chance to donate to a great cause. I’m all about supporting other women and thrilled to be sharing a wonderful program which gives back to help women. 

I’m excited to partner with Talbots to bring awareness to their annual O, The Oprah Magazine Collection benefitting Dress for Success.

This is the fourth year that O, The Oprah Magazine has teamed up with Talbots to create a co-branded capsule collection. When you shop this capsule collection between February 19 and March 31, Talbots will donate 30% net proceeds to Dress For Success®, the international non-profit that provides women with the tools they need to achieve financial independence.

You can also donate to the cause by giving a monetary donation in the store or online here. Talbots will match donations up to $250,000. Through this program, Talbots has raised over $4 million and collected over 15,000 boxes of business attire donated to DFS, benefitting over 100,000 women. Now that’s impressive and a program I’m proud to support.

O, The Oprah Magazine Collection for Talbots

This year, the five-piece exclusive collection is in Talbots ultra comfortable, be good to yourself, T by Talbots line which is inspired by the belief that active women should feel beautiful on the go. Can I get a big yes for that? It’s designed in the always stylish black and white combo which is easy to mix and match and dress up or down.

I’m wearing the cozy zip-front knit jacket with contrasting stripes on the cuffs, collar, and pockets. I’ve layered it over Talbots perfect shirt in crisp black and white gingham and the Never Fade black denim jeans. I’m thrilled to discover this classic black denim is completely fade resistant because they’ll always look crisp and polished, wash after wash. I finished my look with these super comfy driving moccasins and a lightweight crossbody bag. Let me rave about these shoes a bit. They’re available in seven colors in narrow, medium and wide widths. There are three different blues which are all calling my name.

I donated $50 this weekend which provides resources and training to prepare a woman for an interview. With Talbots matching funds, the $100 provides a woman with a personalized suiting experience so she can go to her interview looking and feeling her best!
