Eileen Fisher Spring 2026 Collection: Clean Lines, Natural Fibers, and No Fuss
I’ve been wearing Eileen Fisher for over 30 years, and one of the reasons I still check the new collections is that the brand doesn’t seem interested in doing backflips for attention. At a time when so many clothes are loaded up with puff sleeves, ruffles, busy prints, and odd little flourishes, there’s something very appealing about pieces with clean lines, natural fibers, and enough shape to stand on their own. This spring collection has several of those pieces, so I thought I’d show you what caught my eye and how they look on. You can see my other dressing room try-ons here.

Eileen Fisher is also one of the more size-inclusive brands I shop, and most pieces come in both regular and petite, with sizes ranging from XXS to 3X. That kind of consistency makes it easier for more women to find pieces that actually work for their bodies.

The simplicity of this spring outfit from their window caught my eye.

This split-neck black linen shift dress couldn’t be simpler, and that may be exactly why it works. It gives you a great starting point to style it your own way, whether that means adding bold jewelry, a scarf, or a lightweight jacket. It also comes in a soft Nile blue and red. The knee-length cut gives it plenty of options, and I like that they’ve styled it with coordinating linen pants on the website which adds a fresh, slightly more fashion-forward twist.
I layered it under this black & white cotton pucker check jacket, which is very lightweight and easy to wear. It also works as a shirt on its own with the coordinating wide-leg pants or the tapered pants, so there are several ways to mix these pieces into a spring and summer wardrobe.

ORGANIC LINEN FLIGHT JACKET size S
These lantern pants are especially good. Made from a soft cotton terry, they have the same comfort as knit pants, but the seaming gives them a fun shape, so they look more polished than you might expect. The coordinating tank is cut from the same soft cotton terry and has an easy swing shape with side slits, so it skims rather than clings. Together they make a great set, but both pieces work just as well on their own. The top and bottom are also available in other colors.
The linen flight jacket is what sharpens the whole outfit. The band collar, adjustable hem cord, and woven texture against the soft terry add soft structure that still feels casual. It’s light enough for spring and summer and would work just as well over a simple dress or tank top with shorts. I found the jacket ran a bit large, probably because of the style, so I suggest you size down.

ORGANIC COTTON RIB STRETCH TEE size XL
This linen shell, which is really more of a long vest, is a fun piece to layer over all sorts of things and instantly make an outfit look a little more elegant. They styled it on the website with these slim crepe pants, which looked terrific, but I decided to try it with these wide-leg linen pants and really like the softer, more fluid shape. I think it would also look nice with a paperclip belt worn loosely at the waist for a little more definition. This piece seems to be selling quickly because the regular small was already gone, so I tried the petite instead. It’s a bit snug on me and too short in the armholes, so I’d need my usual size. It also comes in white, and I think a long pendant necklace would look especially good with it.
The wide-leg linen pants are the sort of piece that makes summer dressing easier. They have an elastic waistband, front slash pockets, and come in six colors. I’m wearing the regular length with a 27-inch inseam, and they also come in petite with a 25-inch inseam.
This cotton ribbed tee is a few sizes too large on me, but since it’s ribbed, I’d probably size up just one size from my usual small to a medium for the best fit. It’s the kind of layering piece that works under almost anything and is always useful to have around.

As you saw, I liked this cotton silk cord sweater so much that I bought it in the Flint color. This is the lilac, and it also comes in black. I sized up to a medium because I plan to wear it over a longer shirt. The yarn is soft and smooth without feeling bulky. You could also wear it over a color-coordinated tank…just know that the tank outline will show. I will likely wear it over a nude tank top.
These cotton-blend ponte trousers are a nice weight for spring and summer. The fabric has enough substance to hold its shape, and the 9% elastane helps them keep it. They have a regular waistband with a fly front and zipper, slash pockets, and belt loops, so they read more like trousers than a knit pant. They have enough structure to look polished, but they’re just as easy to wear as softer knit styles. The inseam is 27.5 inches in regular and 25.5 inches in petite.
More from the new Eileen Fisher Spring Collection
What stands out to me in this collection is how wearable it all feels. The pieces are simple, but not dull, and they leave room for you to add your own style with jewelry, layering, or accessories. That kind of clarity is probably why I’ve kept coming back to Eileen Fisher for so many years.
Do you wear Eileen Fisher, or is there another brand you rely on for this kind of simple, well-made clothing?

Thanks for featuring Eileen Fisher. It is my favorite brand that I have been slowly acquiring, especially during their sales. Now that I am retired, the comfort, simplicity and quality of EF clothes really speak to me. All the pieces that you showed look amazing on you. My second favorite brand is Olsen which is a German brand.
I will have to look into Olsen
I, too, love Eileen Fisher. As far as Olsen …IMHO it’s not worth the cost. The quality cannot compare to EF!
I love Eileen Fisher but find it pretty pricey so I like to keep an eye out for pieces at Nordstrom Rack. Found a lovely teal just-above-the-knee length linen shift a couple of weeks ago for a fraction of regular price!
The Rack always has amazing deals. You just have to check regularly to get your size.
I’d say my wardrobe is 40% EF. It’s the fabrics. That cotton terry is so soft and comfortable. Silk jersey can’t be beat. Stuff wears forever.
I agree Kay! I have been wearing the same crepe pants longer than I can remember.
Dear Jennifer,
The link you posted for the Vince Camino sneakers is for men’s shoes! I didn’t realize it until after I placed my order. I only got a virtual assistant so I still don’t know if I was successful or not. Just thought you’d want to know.
Oh no! I’m so sorry
I have some Eileen Fischer pieces that I bought over a decade ago that are still going strong. I really like the lilac color for the silk cord sweater and am checking my budget to see if I can can buy it before it’s sold out.
I absolutely adore Eileen Fisher! The simplicity of her designs and quality of fabric and construction, makes me feel so put together when wearing the pieces. It’s been my go to brand for many years now. I have several pairs of the crepe pants that are 15+ years old now and still look great on. Yes, EF is expensive, but when you factor in the quality and cost per wear, it’s actually quite affordable.
Thank you Jennifer for the great try-on! The pieces all look lovely on you!
My cost per wear is very low with EF because her clothes last forever!
I’ve never purchased Eileen Fisher, but am always drawn to it when in Nordstrom. Years ago, I tried on one of her tees and thought it was the most wonderful t-shirt I’d ever had on. Thought about it for a couple of days, went back and it was gone. Next time I’m in the store, I’ll try on a few things. I like the lantern pants, shape and color. I’m built like you, so know I could wear them well. Right now, I’m liking Quince for simple pieces.
You can’t beat the Quince prices!
Hi Jennifer,
Gorgeous clothes Jennifer I want to wear everything you styled! I have collected some Eileen Fisher over the years and I love the fact they are timeless pieces that mix and match so easily. I also really like going into a store if I can, as I find the sales assistants are really knowable about fit. It’s a drive for me but worth it.
Love the colors and the quality. So worth it. That simple black dress and the sweaters are calling me!
I love the window display that drew you in, with the white and pink … and it’s the first time I’ve seen EF actually highlight the way linen looks after it’s washed and worn — wrinkled! It’s just such a great fabric.
Yes!! It looked real and that enticed me. We all know linen rumples!

The poster here argues that in creating The Row the Olsen sisters basically copied EF at a much higher price point. It’s uncanny.
Given the high prices we are seeing for sub par fabric and tailoring, EF looks like an old friend. For a brand that used to be black and more black, IMO EF now does color better than anyone. I see an effort to flatter different skin tones in many items. Example. “Dark winters, just wear your colors in summer fabrics like linen.” Ha, are my only colors black and navy then? Well, no, says EF, here is a classic linen shirt dress (which also comes in petite) in “blackberry.” Just take my money…..
I did see that video and agree! Eileen Fisher was the original. The Row pieces are so exorbitantly priced, you could go away for the weekend for the cost of a jacket. I couldn’t agree with you more about EF colors. They’re sophisticated and nuanced in a way you just can’t get at most brands.
I have a love/hate relationship with Eileen Fisher. I am truly petite: 5’ exactly and less than 100 lbs. Their sizing runs large, and even their XXS can be big on me. And some styles (designed to be oversized) are overwhelming. As someone who does much better with their petite sizing, I don’t agree with your statement that “most” styles are offered in petite…..as is the case with Talbots (my first place to look for clothing).
But I love their fabrics and their colors! And the quality of garments is universally very good. I have a few pieces I have been buying for a decade or more such as the stretch crepe slim pants which I must have in 10 colors, some full length, some cropped.
I’m lucky there is a store in my area so I can have items shipped and leave them at the store if they don’t work.
These pieces are all lovely. The problem I find with linen pieces like these is that for my shorter, wider body, the boxy shapes don’t look or feel flattering. I feel the need to add some light shaping darts in back, take in the sides a bit at the waist and….a lot of trouble for something that is already expensive. Sigh. The ballet neck sweater you purchased is, as you say, simple but really beautiful. It might be a possibility for my body too! We’ll see!
Love the ponte cotton blend pants and many of their dresses, but sadly Eileen Fisher’s price point is not in my budget! I mostly stick with Talbots, whose sales, coupon codes and rewards program make their clothes affordable!
Talbots is always running promotions. It’s a different business model than EF and other brands. It makes me wonder if anyone buys their clothes full price.
Katie, I buy almost ALL my EF clothing on eBay now, for pennies on the dollar. Once you try a few styles and sizes in a store, you’ll be able to purchase from a resale site for far less money. Plus, most sellers provide measurements and photos of the exact item you are purchasing, so you know for sure what you are getting.
Great tip. Their sale section is also amazing and sometimes 70% off.
Your post gave me my first chuckle of the day! Thank you! I, too, have been thinking “what in the world” about ruffles, puffed sleeves, short hemlines, etc. that (in my opinion) look ridiculous on me. I am off today shopping Eileen!
Love, love, love EF – a majority of my closet is Eileen Fisher clothes. I have had many of the pieces for a very long time. They are worth stepping up a notch in price for the quality and elegance they bring.
I agree!
I love Eileen Fisher! I think that linen shift will be on its way to me soon.
It’s such a great little dress!
I too, have been wearing Eileen Fisher for 30 years. Most of my closet is this brand. Sizing is easy, once you know yours. Returns and exchanges are simple. And, no shipping charge for purchases. I love my clothes from there. They always look great. Sustainably grown. Wonderful materials. Guess I can’t say enough.
Same!
