Weekend Reading 06.13.26
Happy weekend. I wore the outfit below in Vancouver at 72 degrees, then arrived in California to 104 degrees. Ugh.
My new East West Tote seems to go with everything in my wardrobe. The polka dots you see on me is a scarf.
There were fewer posts this week because I was traveling back to California. Besides the time flying…it meant cleaning the condo from top to bottom because I love coming back to a tidy place. I also did some wardrobe clean out, and wow, I had so many things that were no longer “me”. Now that I see my California closet, I will have to do the same here.
Bestsellers – what readers loved most this week:
- So many of you ladies have added this gorgeous, airy scarf to your wardrobe… you’ve confirmed for me that I’m not the only scarf lover in our group. Quite a few of you bought this scarf, too.
- My Eileen Fisher washable crepe pants flew out the door, and they’re still on sale! I have these in so many colors because they travel so well and are machine washable.
- This pretty little rug was also a best seller last week. I don’t know what sizes you ordered, but every size is 20% off.
- My comfiest bra was also a bestseller this week. Mine arrived in the shell color, and it is so pretty!
- My Oasis Retro Runners were also very popular. I love how comfortable these are. I have them in two colors.
- Finally, for the 4th week in a row…my 3/4 sleeve embroidered cotton dress. It’s really a great summer dress.
Weekend sale highlights:
NORDSTROM has some great finds in the sale section this weekend. Here’s what caught my eye:
- These On Cloud sneakers are marked down in several colors.
- My uber comfy Hoka Cliftons are also marked down.
- Hello purple! These Arizona Birkenstocks are marked down in some amazing colors.
- I love the champagne color of these Taos Plim Soul sneakers which would go with everything.
TOMMY BAHAMA doesn’t promote their sales heavily so I’ve done the work for you, and here’s what I found:
- This Raffia Belt Bag which converts to a shoulder bag is adorable! Perfect for busy days when you want to go hands-free.
- Everyone’s favorite Linen Utility Jacket is also on sale.
- If you love lush blooms, this top is so pretty.
RUGGABLE has some great rugs on sale this weekend.
RING CONCIERGE has up to 50% off some Last Chance sale pieces. My tennis trio earrings are included. Their subtle sparkle and swish when I move my head is lovely. I love the modern look of these Georgian Lab Diamond Studs.
LANDS’ END has 50% off almost everything with the code puzzle. These pants look terrific for hot weather, and these classic chinos seem to be flying out the door. Of course, their canvas totes are seemingly indestructible and great for so many occasions. I have navy, but they come in lots of colors and sizes.
