My Most Popular Posts This Year
Happy Friday and New Year’s Eve, ladies! I thought it would be fun to have a look at some of my most popular posts from this year. Many are updated versions and have been found by new ladies who join us here. That’s one reason why it’s so helpful for you to share the posts you like on Pinterest.
The Modern Way To Wear Leggings Over 50 is consistently one of my most-read posts. I know people love to say leggings are dead, but I am here to tell you they’re alive and well and more popular than ever.

I’ve added several pairs to my wardrobe this year and will continue to wear them. The success of wearing leggings comes down to fabric and proportion so don’t let anyone tell you leggings are out of style.
Six Things To Wear Over 60 is the second most-read post from 2021. We’ve all read the style rules, the do’s, don’t, and should never wear list of things that surfaces again and again. This post is what I’m choosing to wear over 60 that you may enjoy too!
Haircut and Products I’m Using For My Over 50 Thinning Hair gets consistent traffic. Its corresponding Youtube video is also getting a lot of traffic so I will likely do more posts on my hair struggles. You can watch it below.
My next popular post was published almost 3 years ago which tells me I need to cover it more extensively.
How To Look Taller And Slimmer is 4th in popularity followed closely by 11 Style Essentials for Women Over 50 and What To Wear Over 50.
What sort of posts would you like to see more of in 2022?
Have a safe and Happy New Year!

I just want to thank you for your interesting and informative blogs. I love anything about fashion and style and have happily followed you for several years. Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy year ahead.
Happy New Year, Norma.
I like your travel posts and shots of you in the area.
I love your posts where you analyze either a fashion trend, a piece of clothing or long held fashion do’s and don’t that might not quite be true. your explanation about contrast was the best I have ever read. I also love that you highlight quality projects that are not necessarily in the top price points. Your travel excursions and getaways are also lots of fun to see and hear about. Thank you!
Jennifer I always look forward to your blog. You give so much insight to subjects I over look or hadn’t thought about. I turn 65 in January and don’t want to look like I remember my grandmother (although I loved her dearly) so thank you for doing what you do by keeping it fresh and youthful!
Happy New Year!!
Joanne
Happy New Year, Joanne!!
I really like the variety of topics in your blog. How to restyle and update pieces in our wardrobe would be a great topic. I also really liked it when you showed different ways to wear the same outfit.
Happy New Year to you and all the bloggers out there!
Happy New Year, Judy
I like that idea too. I have a lot of older clothes that have been hardly worn, but I want to restyle for my current more casual semi retired life
I love how you always tell what size you are wearing. It’s soooo helpful. I would like your take on buying the basic for a good wardrobe.
Can’t believe this is the last day of the year! Happy New Year Jennifer.🎶🎲Time to roll the dice on a new year. Let’s pray for an improvement over this one.
It’s going to improve, I just know it. Happy New Year!
I would love to hear more about light makeup foundations and best for older skin so you don’t look pastey looking. I am also over 70 but stay active.
More ideas on how to look good over 70.
Big number but I think there are a lot of us in good shape still kicking.
Have a Very 🥳 New year. Stay safe and may you be blessed with much Joy.
Happy New Year
Happy New Year, Jennifer!
I enjoy rereading so many of your posts but the one that always makes me laugh out loud is “The One Bra You’ll Never Need”. So very true and very helpful but the photo of you before and after makes such an impact. Well done. 😃😅😂
Thanks, Janet. That post almost wrote itself:) Happy New Year
I love all your posts! I have learned so much about style and color and just everything you talk about is so informative. Thanks so much. Happy New Year 🎉
Happy New Year, Rose
Well, just let me say that your blog has been such a comforting inspiration for me. You’re a friend that I love to visit with daily and take away so many positive thoughts! Thank you!
One of my favorite topics you addressed was the power of accessories. You assigned a point system including points for certain hair styles and makeup.
I found this post so useful. At a time in my life when I don’t want to become invisible, I also don’t want to look like I’m trying too hard. Maybe a revisit to this subject…
Happy, Happy New Year to all!
Great idea, thank Jan. Happy New Year

Happy New Year Jennifer and all reading here. I have enjoyed opening up all the posts so far and wishing you a more open year ahead. You have done so well keeping us informed on topics that are relevant to women in our stage of life. Your info on colour values was explained so well that I actually understand the concept much better now. This is what I really appreciate. I get a smile on my face when I see you in the inbox, so sending wishes for another informative year to come. Thank you.
