Best Beauty Deals During Amazon Prime Day
Amazon’s Prime Days sale kicks off today and goes through tomorrow. It’s hard to believe there is another huge sale on! If you’re unfamiliar with their annual sale, it’s a 48-hour window where you can expect to find incredible discounts and exclusive deals on technology, fashion, home items, beauty products, and more. I discovered it’s not only a great time to stock up on some of my favorite beauty products, but it’s also a good opportunity to snag some skincare and haircare items I’ve been eyeing. Here are some of the items I’m adding to my cart, plus some other great Amazon Prime Day beauty deals.
Waterpik Aquarius Water Flosser

A Waterpik for a beauty pick? You bet because if your gums are receding and not a healthy pink color, no amount of lipstick will improve your appearance. I swear by my Waterpik. My dentist tells me I have the gums of a teenager… too bad my teeth aren’t the same:) I’m rather persnickety about my teeth, so we both have a Waterpik by our sink in California. I wasn’t about to carry mine each time we flew up to our little apartment in Vancouver, so I ordered this Waterpik Flosser for our sink here. They say it doesn’t replace flossing for gum health, but it’s a very close second in my mind. Tip- I add a capful of Hydrogen peroxide to the water once a week, which helps to kill mouth bacteria…This is recommended by the oral surgeon who installed both of my dental implants.
Nutrafol Hair Growth Supplements

Midlife hair loss is very common for women, and I’ve been dealing with thinning hair myself for several years now (you can read about my journey here). Nutrafol’s Hair Growth supplements are super popular and promise to deliver thicker, stronger, and fuller hair. These capsules are packed with a blend of 21 vitamins, minerals, and natural ingredients, like Maca, Ashwagandha, and Saw Palmetto, that work together to target the root causes of thinning hair.
COSRX Snail Mucin

Snail Mucin is hugely popular, and ladies who use it love it! I did order some last year, but I just couldn’t get into it (I don’t eat escargot either:) It’s reported to repair and rejuvenate dry skin. This product has over 93,000 positive reviews. Their Repair Face Cream also has amazing reviews and is part of the sale.
Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C & Turmeric Face Oil

This facial oil by Sunday Riley is a new addition to my skincare routine. It’s loaded with powerhouse ingredients like vitamin C for brightening and firming and turmeric for its soothing antioxidant benefits. I love that the brand is a certified B-corp and cruelty-free. The oil absorbs quickly and does a great job of reviving my skin, especially when it looks dull and tired. I’m also currently using and loving their Vit C serum and Luna Retinol Oil on my neck and chest.
COLOR WOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray

While I haven’t personally given this best-selling product a try, I have heard nothing but great things. I even did a quick scroll through the review section, where there are over 50,000 5-star ratings. This spray essentially waterproofs your hair to help combat humidity and frizz, and it also doubles as a heat protectant. Users say it not only does it work in the most humid of environments, but it also leaves your hair very soft and shiny.
Bio-Oil Skincare Body Oil

Bio-Oil is a popular skincare product that many people swear by for reducing the look of scars, stretch marks, and uneven skin tone. It’s made with a mix of vitamins and natural oils, like Vitamin A and E, along with oils from plants like lavender and chamomile. I’ve been seeing Bio-Oil on the shelves for years, and I finally decided to give it a try. I love how lightweight it is, and it makes my skin feel very hydrated and moisturized.
Jergens Natural Glow +FIRMING Self Tanner

I’ve used Natural Glow by Jergens for more years than I can remember. It doesn’t have a weird smell and has never left me streaky. I admit I never attempt a dark-tanned look because it would look dumb on me, but this gives my legs a soft color that improves the look of my legs and never rubs off on my white towels after showering.
Olaplex Bond Maintenance Shampoo

I’ve dabbled with lots of shampoos and conditioners but never found one I like as much as Olaplex. Every product in their line is paraben, sulfate, phthalate, gluten, and cruelty-free, so I feel good about using them. This is highly moisturizing and leaves my hair feeling healthier and looking shinier. Just a tiny bit goes a long way.
EltaMD UV Clear Deep Tint Face Sunscreen

EltaMD UV Clear Deep Tint Face Sunscreen is a best-seller everywhere. I love the brand and use many of their products. This gives your skin the perfect splash of color, and it blends easily. If you’re looking for other sunscreen recommendations for mature skin, you can find them here.
PURA D’OR Anti-Thinning Biotin Shampoo & Deep Moisturizing Conditioner

When I was researching the Best Shampoos for Thinning Hair, I read a lot of great things about the Anti Hair-Thinning Biotin Shampoo and Deep Moisturizing Biotin Conditioner from Pura D’or. These products work together to boost hair strength, resist breakage, increase volume, and thicken hair. What’s even better is that these products are free from harsh chemicals, environmentally responsible, hypo-allergenic, vegan, and cruelty-free.
Medix 5.5 Retinol Body Lotion Firming Moisturizer

I recently wrote about the Best Cruelty-Free Retinol Body Lotions for Aging Skin, and this one from Medix 5.5 made the list. Not only does it contain 5.5% retinol to help combat crepey skin and skin texture, but it’s cruelty-free and vegan. It also contains aloe vera to help with redness & irritation, green tea, and chamomile, which helps reduce puffiness. The reviews are so good that I just ordered some to try.

- I hear great things about this talc-free dry shampoo!

I have had that water pik for years and love it. I’ve mixed mouthwash in but like the tip about hydrogen peroxide!
Sometimes I mix a bit of mouthwash with the peroxide to leave a fresh taste.
I used your link but switched to Evolve Insta volume cleansing treatment and Ultrashine conditioner as they work best on my now short pixie haircut for the summer. I just bought Advanced Clinicals Retinol product about a week ago on your link. I love their Manuka Honey lotion and my husband and I both love the Hyaluronic cream. It comes in good sized tubs and lasts a long time.
Good to know, thanks for sharing Sydney
I just had a tooth extraction and am on the journey for a tooth implant. Thanks for the hydrogen peroxide tip in the water pik water.
I like olaplex, but I can’t open containers with my arthritic wet hands. I don’t see pumps for them. What do you do? Also I don’t see a colored hair version….so I use the regular!
I snap the tops open before I get in the shower! I’m sorry to hear about your tooth. That’s painful. Do check with your oral surgeon.
