A Gift For You
Happy Friday and Merry Christmas Eve. We have a very small family and most of us have assembled at our home for Christmas this year so I will be taking some time to soak it all up. Before I take a small break, I wanted to thank you for being the gifts I never expected.
I think of this community as a living breathing embodiment of women supporting women. Yes, it’s a blog, but you ladies have transformed the comment section into a community that I am so grateful to be a part of with you. The wisdom, kindness, and rich experiences you share are gifts to every lady here.
In that spirit, I am thrilled to have a gift I’d like to give one of you. You’ve seen me wear and support Dean Davidson many times over the years. He’s an incredibly talented Canadian Jeweler who makes designs that are modern, elegant, and unique.

Further solidifying his role as an internationally celebrated jewelry designer, Davidson was honored as the Canadian Arts & Fashion Award’s 2019 Accessories Designer of the Year.
I love that his collections are purposefully designed in Toronto, Canada, and meticulously crafted in a traditional, family-owned workshop of multi-generational master gem cutters in Jaipur, India.
Each piece is cast out of high-quality brass, finished in 22kt gold or rhodium, and set with custom-cut, semi-precious gemstones. The collection’s signature brushed finish – a technique learned by the designer during time spent in Paris – gives a timeless, luxurious, and unique quality to each design.

Nice jewelry! I think my favorite is the Ipanema earrings. I’d go with a silver finish and either the moonstone or blue topaz stones. It’s such a unique design.

I loved ALL the jewelry on Dean Davidson’s site but if I have to pick just one as my absolute favorite it would be the Signature MIDI Knockout Pendant! Gorgeous and so unusual.
