Best Naot Sandals for Women Over 60: Comfortable, Stylish, and Supportive Picks for Summer

I was excited to pop into the local Naot store earlier this week and try on some summer sandals. They’re a go-to for many women over 60 because they combine serious comfort with polished, walkable style. With supportive footbeds, adjustable straps, and soft leather uppers, they’re ideal for aging feet, especially if you deal with foot pain and swelling or just need all-day support without sacrificing elegance. These are some of the best Naot sandals for women over 60 who want all-day comfort, arch support, and modern style.

Naot uses European sizing, and I found they run a full-size small, so adjust accordingly. BTW- I didn’t wear my jeans like this with the long shirtdress, I just folded them up in the store to show the sandals 😉.

Naot Wedges give you a gentle lift (usually 1.5″ to 2″) without feeling unstable. The heel-to-toe drop can improve posture and reduce pressure on the Achilles which is especially helpful if flat shoes make your calves or lower back ache.

Here are the Naot Dynasty sandals in Kiss Red. They also come in 10 other color combinations, in narrow and medium widths. They have a 1.75″ wedge heel with their signature footbed, which is made with a blend of natural cork and latex. They have a removable, anatomic cork and latex footbed wrapped ultra soft suede along with an adjustable velcro strap across the top. They come in several colors, but this store only had black, and I do not need another pair of black sandals…do I? It has a lightweight, durable, slip-resistant sole, plus it’s American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) accepted for promoting good foot health.

This Naot Dorith flat sandal is one of their all-time bestsellers. This gladiator-inspired style comes in 12 colors and has an adjustable top strap, ensuring a perfect fit. 1. I have three pairs of Naot Dorith Sandals. Silver threads, red and my first, very old pair in teal. They accommodate my bunion and I can walk comfortably for miles in them. I may try the dressier styles for a few things coming up this summer. I have a store not too far away that carries quite a few styles, as well as Taos.

I would like to try them but need a wide width and am not sure they would work, although I’m sure some run wide. I bought Munro (which has closed down) and Vionic sandals and am grateful for more fashionable choices – for so long, the wide width, “comfort” sandals seemed so frumpy to me! I’d still like even more choices, but I feel like maybe things are looking up for those of us with foot issues? For me, it’s neuropathy and the need to feel stable in my shoes that is a challenge.

  3. Glad to see your post today and know that you are ok! I was worried about you. I’ve never heard of the NAOT brand, but I ordered the Dynasty white/soft beige/marigold pair. I was tempted by the red (and other colors!) but I thought this was a particularly cute combination. I’m anxious to see how they feel. Thank you for sharing such fun choices. Take care!

    1. I hope you love them Deby. I found them very comfy! xo

      1. These arrived yesterday and they are now my new favorite shoe! So comfortable and the leather is so soft. Thank you for the recommendation!

      2. Amazing! I’m so happy to hear that Deby.

  4. I love Naot sandals! I have the Dynasty sandals in the white/beige color (with yellow back strap). They are super comfortable but don’t scream orthopedic sandal. My regular size is 38, and I bought them in 37.

    1. Wow, I had to size up!

  5. I am not familiar with the Naot brand. I did like the variety you modeled. We will look into them. Thanks

  6. Good Afternoon Jennifer, and thanks for the Naot tour. They’ve been on my radar, but haven’t taken the time to look much. The Naot Dynasty is my favorite and they come in such clever color combinations. You look great in the denim duster/jean combo. Love it.

  7. Great info! I wasn’t familiar with this brand and love everything you showed. Btw….I love your jeans turned up.

  8. I have some Naot Kaylas that are very comfortable on my usually “ouchy” feet. I get lots of compliments on them. Expensive but worth it!

  9. Hi, Jennifer: Thanks for the reviews on Naot. So many of my friends swear by them (well, sort of!) One thing they do say: Buy a size larger because they all run small. Did you find this to be true?

    1. Yes, they do and I mentioned that at the beggining of the post.

  10. Hi Jennifer! I’m glad that you are not sick. I missed you. As for these shoes, they look great on you and they have many cooler shades which I love but I can’t wear European sizing. I wear a 6.5 with wide toe boot in a sandal. I can’t wear Birks either. They are either too small or too big. You are lucky to have found comfortable sandals that are in the cool color palette.

    1. They have lots of great colors

  11. Nancy Choat says:

Agree 100%! I have Naot sandles thanks to my favourite shoe store in Sidney here on Vancouver Island! Love them. Love them. Love them! And so do my 85 year old arthritic feet!
    Nancy❤️😋💕

  12. I haven’t heard of Noat sandals before. They really do look comfortable. I like the little heel. Especially like the red ones ❤️

    1. The red is tempting me…it would be fun with my black linen pants this summer

  13. Unfortunately, they are too wide for narrow feet. Do any of your readers have suggestions for comfy, easy on the feet sandals for us narrow footed gals?

    1. Use Jennifer’s links to view the sandals. The Dynasty sandals were on Amazon and had narrow widths. So, they may have others in narrow as well. Unfortunately they did not have my size in a medium width.

  14. I have been wearing Naots for over 20 years and they are wonderful. I especially like the ones with the removable footbed so they can be switched with orthotics.

    1. Yes, the sales lady explained about those. I forgot to mention it, so thanks for reminding me Alice!

  15. Thanks for this review. I’ve always thought Naot ran narrow but the look fine and you didn’t complain! I’ve been searching for navy non birk sandals for several years and had the Kayla on my list to try. Not I just might!

    1. Not narrow at all! In fact, they’re nice and roomy Shari. This was such a delightful discovery I now have several more pairs in my cart and need to whittle them down. They do run shorter though.

  16. I am so glad to see you embracing Naot sandals! I have two pairs of the Dorith and a couple of pairs of other styles. I haven’t seen the Dynasty sandals before and have wanted a pair of red sandals for several years. I will definitely have to check them out!

    1. They’re incredibly comfortably. I’m so happy to find this brand fits and has some stylish options!

  17. Taos brand sandals are more comfy for me than Naot, altho I do have one very old pair that I still love. I literally wore a pair of
Taos “Trophy 2” sandals every single day on a Mediterranean cruise several years ago. I do not exaggerate…every day. On cobblestones.
But, that first pair you wore….cute! I’m going to investigate.

  18. They all look great, I wore them years back after foot surgery but found them to be too wide I will have to go back and look again. Just purchased the Ecco sandals and the Vionic that you mentioned before and I love them. Thank you.

    1. I love, love, love my Ecco sandals

  19. I too am a lover of NAOT sandals and have a couple of pairs that are more than 20 years old! The Geneva flats are walk all day comfortable and I’ve replaced the insoles twice because I hate to lose the great comfort. My first pair of Ashleys were both comfortable and sturdy enough to allow a morning’s hike up a waterfall in Italy. They’re showing their age, but I still wear them, and I did buy another pair in bronze metallic, which seems to go with everything! I find they run true to size for me. I’m usually a 40 in European sizes and am in these as well, and they fit my slightly narrow foot perfectly.

  20. Naot is one of my favorite shoe brands. I was introduced to this brand after a foot injury. I just recently purchased Naot Sofia sandal in the radiant gold leather color (gold and brown leather straps). I love it so much. This is the first time responding. I love your blog and read it frequently.

    1. So nice to have you join the conversation Gayle!
