Counting My Blessings
Vancouver has been buried in a snowstorm, so I hope to be picking up my daughter at the airport later today and will be signing off for a few days. I want to take the time to soak in all the love and family vibes that I can. My son and grandson will be here, and my sister-in-law will join us, so we’ll have a full house.
I’m wearing a few of Chico’s outfits below, which the brand sent me to share on Instagram. The teal is a huge color for them this collection, and I love it!
Thanksgiving was lovely but quiet this year, so I’m excited to celebrate Christmas surrounded by loved ones. We’ve ordered an organic turkey, and I plan to bake some goodies with my daughter and grandson. I haven’t decided if I’ll share anything on Instagram, but I will decide that in the moment.
This is the time of year when I take stock of all I have to be grateful for. My family and I are blessed with good health, and although I often grumble about some minor stuff, I know they’re trivial compared to the challenges many are dealing with.
I’ll pop in here for WYWI on Saturday, then be back on Boxing Day to share a few sales I’m shopping that you might want to take a peek at.
I also want to take this time to tell you how grateful I am for you. Your kind comments and wise observations have made this a community I’m proud to be part of. I’ve learned much from you, and I am blessed that you take the time to be here.
