Dean Davidson with An Exciting Giveaway For My Readers
Happy Tuesday ladies. I’ve always been a bit of a jewelry nut and I came by it naturally. My grandmother loved and collected it, my mother loved and collected it, and I’ve passed that tradition on to my daughter. When I visited Vanessa in Vancouver last fall, we had a blast visiting with her friends, getting our first Hydra facial, dining out, and of course shopping… all the pre-pandemic joy that I’d sure love to have right about now! Today I am introducing the Dean Davidson Jewelry Collection.

On one of our shopping excursions, we discovered a jewelry collection by a Canadian designer called Dean Davidson. The Vancouver Nordstrom had a fairly small collection but enough to have us wanting more. Vanessa bought this gorgeous pair of pearl and brushed gold earrings before I could get my credit card out…I have trained her well:)
We both loved them – they’re simple, elegant, organic shape is a modern classic. I tried unsuccessfully to steal them upon my departure but no luck.

Fast forward to this past month, I discovered the brand again while browsing on Instagram, in particular, I saw these Ipanema earrings which are amazing. I adore the way the stone sits in its setting. I’ve never seen anything quite like this!
I asked a question on the Instagram image and connected with Dean who offered to send me a few pieces to try! It turns out these amazing earrings are part of the DD Icons collection which are worn time and again as red-carpet staples. These instantly-recognizable pieces represent both the origin and evolution of the Dean Davidson brand.

Dean Davidson discovered his love for designing jewelry after an inspirational trip to Africa and launched his line in 2007. Dean’s collections are designed in Toronto, Canada, and meticulously crafted in a traditional family-owned workshop of multi-generational master gem cutters in Jaipur, India. He was honored as the Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards 2019 Accessories Designer of the Year. Each piece is cast out of high-quality brass and finished in 22 k gold or rhodium and set with custom-cut semi-precious gemstones.

The Mar collection is named after the Portuguese word for sea and features vibrant, ocean-hued gemstones evocative of glistening seas in the midday sun.
What I love about these pieces, is they can be dressed up for a formal affair (if we ever get out of the house again!), and they also pair well with a simple T-shirt and jeans. The stones are particularly beautiful – they have a lot of fire and life in them.

I thought each pair of earrings I put on was my favorite until I saw my daughter borrow and wear these. They are the exact color of our eyes and one of my very favorite stones!

The collection’s signature brushed-finish is a technique Dean learned during his time in Paris. I love how it gives a soft, timeless, luxurious, and unique quality to each design. I’ve seen his pieces on many celebrities – including Oprah, the Duchess of Sussex, and Jennifer Lopez.

Currently, these collections can be found in over 300 luxury boutiques and department stores across the globe so I am thrilled to share them with you.
Dean has generously provided a discount code for my readers – which will save you 25% off your entire purchase…even items on sale! I know that because I had to buy a pair of these for my daughter if I ever hope to take my pair home;) Just type in JENNIFER25 after you load your cart and proceed to the online checkout.

Beautiful jewelry! I would love to win your giveaway but I have successfully weaned myself off FB and I’m not going back! Instagram is quickly becoming invasive and I’m slowly unfollowing more and more posts. I understand this is how my favorite bloggers are getting exposure but I just can’t handle the amount of suggested accounts I get every day. Love your blog and will continue with the email notification but right now I’m feeling so overwhelmed with social media!
The Ipanema Earrings in Blue Topaz.
Love the whole largo line of jewelry!
So glad to be following you both! I’m saving up for the pearl/gold ones in your original post but then I saw the Praia Pave Hoops! Thanks for sharing his designs!
Wow…a Canadian designer! Always looking to support Canadian (as a Canadian). Jennifer, the Castle ring in blue topaz…sigh…the bold, unique shape. Absolutely stunning!
I would buy the IPANEMA EARRINGS. They are unique and beautiful. I know I would wear them often.
I try to look “clean and neat” when I’m shopping or visiting doctors” – but you’ve upped my game with your lovely touches, jewelry, hats, scarves, a pin on your jacket!. I like the understated look so I’m looking for the “jumpsuit”that you have in a maroon tone, paired with the white jacket.
Never too old for fashion!!!!
I love everything, but my favorite is the SIGNATURE SIX DROP EARRINGS. Liked and followed both facebook pages. I shared on Facebook

Wow, thank you for the introduction to Dean Davidson jewelry! Such lovely, unique pieces – I would love the signature droplet in my favorite – blue!
The Signature layered Necklace would be my choice, in a stone I am not familiar with, labradorite, it looks stunning. I hope your readers from around the world enjoy an amazing Canadian designer.
Thank you for the introduction! I would purchase the Ipanema gold and onyx earrings bc I have white/silver hair and I need the contrast. It is so hard to find black and gold that can be dressed up or down. Have a great day!
What an amazing collection of jewelry! Thanks for sharing. Just beautiful!
Wow, what a stunning collection. I love the Ipanema but also am drawn to the whimsy of the Origami collection. I must go back and peruse his website slowly! Thank you for sharing the Dean Davidson collection with us! Enjoy your time with your daughter!
Thank you for introducing us to Dean Davidson. I’m Canadian, so try to always shop “local”. I love the brushed metal. I really like the Pave ring, actually all the rings.
I am a jewelry lover as well. I love the whole Mar collection because of the beautiful colors. I would choose the Mar gemstone mini drop earrings in labradorite and silver. They’re so beautiful and would go with so many things in my wardrobe.
I loved them all! I’ll be turning 70 in January and I enjoy keeping myself up to date and looking stylish. Always looking for inspiration, so thank you Jennifer and All your istyle tips.
I’m not on Facebook so disappointed that I can’t enter the contest. Dean’s earrings- especially the square hoops , are modern classics.
I guess it’s too early for me this morning. I forgot to add that I would buy the Ipanema earrings. I adore the faceted blue stone set into the simple gold setting. It looks elegant and simple yet playful, all of which define my style.
Jennifer, thank you for sharing a part of this beautiful collection! Like you, my grandmother and mother loved their jewelry and passed that love on to me. As a little girl, I would go into Grandma’s bedroom and go through her jewelry, admiring each piece. I ended up with her entire brooch collection, a pearl necklace, and her wedding set. I also got my mother’s collection upon her passing, and I cherish wearing pieces from both. They give me joy, and I also receive compliments when I wear something that belonged to my lovely grandma and mom.
Thank you for introducing us to such a talented designer! I love the aesthetic of his pieces–they are right up my alley. I would love the Ipanema silver earrings with the blue topaz for my niece who is such a loving soul with an incredible work ethic. I know she would treasure them.
These pieces are just beautiful. I especially love the Origami Infinity Chain Necklace. I too had a grandmother who collected jewelry, and she passed that love on to me.
