Friends and Family with Macy’s
Happy Friday ladies! Who doesn’t love great fitting jeans and fun shoes? I sure do. Add an amazing pink handbag and I’m a happy camper.

I wanted to add some neutral jeans that were not white to my spring wardrobe and found some great ones at the Macy’s Friends and Family sale. This sale only happens twice a year with storewide deals for the entire family. It runs from April 27-May 7 but I suggest you shop early for the best selection.

I started with these NYDJ Tummy Control Jeans in the Feather color. I have several pairs of white and wanted an alternative for the summer. They have a subtle frayed hem that is just edgy enough to look current without appearing sloppy.
These jeans have Lift Tuck® Technology with a crisscross stretch that flattens your tummy, lifts your buttocks and makes you look and feel one size smaller. I love how sliming these are and have been a fan for years. 
I topped it with this Style & Co Tie-hem denim shirt that is made from a super soft Lyocell. I often tie the front hems of my shirts to snug it below my waist and shorten the length so this was a no-brainer at an amazing price. I love how it dips low in back to cover my backside. Style and Co offers a complete line of garments, handbags, and accessories for women that are created just for Macy’s.
I’ve been on the hunt for a Brahmin bag to perk up my summer look so was thrilled to find a huge selection at Macy’s. They’re beautifully made of high-quality leather and a timeless style so worth the investment.
This Melbourne Anywhere Satchel was created exclusively for Macy’s and is available in 7 colors. I chose this deep pink they call Ribbon. I’ve wanted a pink bag for some time but didn’t want a washed out color so when I saw this, I knew it was meant to be. I love the structure and size of this one. It also comes with a long strap for hands-free use. 
These Andey Sandals are not for long days on my feet but so darn cute I couldn’t resist them. Their fun flowers and striped heels just say festive to me. They’ll be perfect for summer parties and dinner out.
I wanted the shoes and bag to take center stage in this outfit so I only added these swingy earrings by Lucky Brand. They have a large Abalone stone and two interlocking hoops that swing independently.

Darling outfit you put together! Im wondering if you have noticed recently that NYDJ new technology has also changed the fit. I have worn this brand for years, but it seems as though the cut has shifted to tighter size. I finally asked the sales rep and she said the brand sizing has changed with the new technology. Wish they hadn’t made the change!
I hate when brands change their fit criteria. It’s hard enough to remember which brands fit which way.

I love NYDJ. They fit me perfectly but I do have to size down one size, as they stretch out during the day. If they fit comfortably snug when trying on, they are the perfect size. This is a great alternative to white. Somehow I always get something on my white jeans and into the wash again – dirt magnet.

I never wear capris because I am short and have proportionally short legs. They look choppy on me

Haven’t really worn shorts for about 30 years. I wear skirts, cotton dresses and linen pants.
