New Arrivals from Your Favorite Stores For March 2025
The air is warm, the sun is shining and I’ve got spring on the brain. Now, more than usual, I’m thinking about how I want to refresh my wardrobe for spring. I started with an online search, then popped into a few stores to check out new arrivals and get some inspiration. Today, I’m sharing some new arrivals from your favorite stores for March 2025. So whether you’re looking for classic pieces, fun colors, or fresh styles to update your look, these picks are perfect for mixing into your everyday wardrobe.
New Finds from Favorite Stores: March 2025
Nordstrom
Nordstrom is, without a doubt, my favorite department store.
I love a great double denim outfit. I love the pintuck seam down the front of these Pistola jeans. They jeans appear to already be sold out at Nordstrom, which is crazy because they had lots of them at the store…but I found them here at Anthro, and here at Shopbop. They have a fabulous high waist and deep hem which helps them drape nicely. I added a Rag and Bone gray suede belt with silver buckle.
Collarless jean jackets are huge this season, and I’ve tried on many. This Rails Denim jacket caught my attention because of the whipstitch edging and nubby crochet covered buttons. I already own plenty of classic denim jackets, so I thought this was a nice change of pace.
This Edith Hobo bag has a great woven texture that I love, and it has just enough structure to keep from looking sloppy. The fuchsia adds a bright pop of color for your spring outfits, and it’s also available in black, ivory, and a cornflower blue that they call “denim.”
Mary Janes are everywhere you look this season. The double strap and perforated leather on this one by Dolce Vita add a bit of interest without making it feel too sweet. You can find my full list of Mary Jane recommendations in this post.
I’m a big fan of Helen Kaminski hats and have been wearing them for years. It turns out that her bags are pretty cool, too. This medium-sized tote has a straw/leather combination that will pair well with just about anything in your closet. It also comes in a gorgeous all-black version.
A well-made cotton tee is a wardrobe staple for me since they’re great for layering under cashmere sweaters, cardigans, jackets—pretty much everything. This Favorite Daughter tee is 100% organic cotton, has a great weight to it, and comes in tons of colors.

Talbots
Here’s another collarless jean jacket, this time in pink with classic styling and frayed edges. This also comes in green or white. I’m wearing it over this ultraknit maxi dress, which is fabulous. The fabric is thicker than a tee dress and it hangs beautifully. It would be so perfect for travel too. I’m wearing a misses, the petite is 3″ shorter.
This watercolor print cardigan has an ivory background with tan, pink and red floral. On the left, I’m wearing it with the straight leg chinos. On the right, I’m wearing it with their latest straight leg cuff jeans. I tucked the cardigan with the cuff jeans to help balance the shorter leg.
A denim skirt is an easy swap for jeans and just as versatile. This one is in a classic medium wash, and it has a front slit for easy walking and sitting.
This white button-down can be styled easily with jeans, shorts, ponte pants, skirts, and even colored chinos or trousers. The relaxed fit makes it easy to style, whether you’re tucking it in or leaving it loose.
If a denim jacket feels too casual for your lifestyle, this poplin jacket is a great alternative. The yellow is bright and cheery, making it perfect for spring.
While we’re on the topic of happy colors, these wide ankle twill pants come in lots of fun shades for spring including this pinky coral called “Pink Rosette,” as well as “Heritage Green” and a stunning “Lakeside Blue.” Also available in tan, white, and navy.

Chicos
White denim always seems to attract dirt, so I’m a big fan of Chico’s “No Stain” white denim! These cropped girlfriend jeans have a slim-fit leg that pairs effortlessly with everything from sneakers and ballet flats to sandals.
This Peplum Jean jacket is a fun twist on the classic denim jacket, with a peplum detail that adds a feminine touch. The tailored fit through the waist creates a more flattering silhouette, especially compared to more traditional boxy styles.

Last but not least, I wanted to share this beautiful tweed jacket. The rich brown color is a great alternative to black, and looks great with denim, beige, white, and more!

Nordstrom has a nice-looking loafer with decent enough treads, but I am going to keep looking. I love the looks of the Edith Hobo bag, but I just can’t bring myself to pay that amount of money for polyurethane or whatever non-leather is used. I’m worried that I am beginning to sound like my grandmother who just could not get used to rising prices – lol.

I love your first outfit…you are a master at proportion. As for wide leg jeans, I’ve ordered and returned more than I can think of, for me I believe I’ll have to go in person to find the right proportion , not easy with stubby legs…..I just had to return a pair from my go to brand Wit & Wisdom, they didn’t look as wide as the on-line picture.. I’m still searching…..
I love wide leg jeans from Chicos as well as their trouser leg jeans. I’m only 5’1” but I wear them because they are the most comfortable jeans I have worn. They are lightweight and fun and wearable in the summer except in extreme heat. I love my lightweight white denim jacket and I have a traditional dark washed one as well. We will only get a couple of weeks of spring before hot summer takes over here in Colorado. I get very little wear out of jackets or sweater. I also shop online at JCP and Kohls. They are within my budget. I would shop Dillards or Nordstrom for a fancy event dress if one of my grandchildren decided to get married instead of long term cohabitation with their partners. What is with these 30 something’s today! Loved the style show. Dreaming of green leaves and flowers here.
I’m glad to see the collarless denim jackets coming back. I have one from Ann Taylor I bought nearly 20 years ago and have always loved it! It’s a tad tighter than it used to be but still looks great.
Oh my…I have a couple of “old” “poplin” jean-style jackets that look like the Talbots jackets…mine are in a wonderful “strawberry” shade as well as another in turquoise….do I dare wear them? I always loved wearing them in the spring/summer. Think the colors are “dated?” Love your advice.
There are a lot of bright colors this spring so if you love them and they don’t look worn out or unstylish, wear them with delight
I love wide leg pants too, on anyone else but me! I have wide hips, a tummy and skinny legs so not only are wide leg pants unflattering but all that fabric flapping around when I walk is very annoying and makes me feel silly. I do have a couple slightly wider leg linen pants that I wear in the summer because they’re cooler. I appreciate that you model a variety of styles and colors, you’ve inspired me to try things outside of my ‘normal’ after seeing how they look on you.
Nordstrom is my favorite store too. I really like the denim jackets. 💙

I understand how pervasive they are, and I appreciate that you keep trying them, but honestly I don’t think the wide leg pants do anything for women who aren’t very tall and very slim.
I love wide leg pants! Please consider that not everything we wear needs to flatter our shape or coloring. It can be fun to wear something just because we enjoy it.
My wishlist has Nordstrom, Tuckernuck dresses, Eileen Fisher, Tommy Bahama jackets you showed, Frank and Eileen, Everlane, Old Navy linen pants and one Boden top. Like you I have enough basics and I’m looking for “third” pieces, dresses that aren’t black (hard to find in my colors in summer) and a few wow items.
