The Well Loved Edit for May 2026
Today, I’m sharing a few of my favorites for May. This was a popular post last month, and I don’t think it had anything to do with me including a naked picture of myself 😂. This month, I’m being extra careful with reflective, metallic tubes, but for heaven’s sake, if I miss something, please let me know.
I try a lot of new products every month. Some are so-so, some are lousy, and some are home runs. These are the ones I reached for most often in May.

1 – Tower 29 SOS Daily Rescue Spray. This spray has been in my skincare arsenal for years, but when my rosacea kicked in with a vengeance this month, it reminded me just how helpful it is. Hypochlorous acid may sound scary, but it’s basically 3 simple ingredients that calm visible redness and irritation and kill bacteria on the skin. It’s dermatologist-approved, has the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance, and is, quite simply, magic when my skin is upset. I keep the large size in my medicine cabinet and ordered this travel-size to bring on my trip because I felt like I should bathe in it.

2 – ISDIN Eryfotona Actinica SPF 50+, Mineral Sunscreen for Face. As mentioned above, my skin has been on high alert all month, so I stopped experimenting with other combo sunscreens and went back to just using this one because zinc oxide is very soothing for the skin. I’m always interested in trying new products, but when my face says, no way, I go back to this. It rubs in well, giving strong protection.

3 – Eve 02 Ankle Strap Platform Wedge. This will come as no surprise to anyone, but these sandals are so comfy that I bought them in both Biscuit and Black. I’ve been wearing them non-stop since I bought my first pair. They have a cushioned insole, soft leather upper, and are secure around the ankle. I packed both colors for my trip to Singapore and flew home wearing them. On days when even my sneakers don’t feel comfy, these sandals do, which is saying a lot.

4 – Tata Harper Superkind Calming Crème. I’ve been using this moisturizer all month, and my skin loves it! This is a natural skincare brand known for botanical formulas, green glass packaging, and a “green beauty meets spa treatment” feel. Their Superkind line is part of the brand’s sensitive-skin collection, which is fragrance-free, dermatologist-tested, and accepted by the National Eczema Association. I ordered this travel-size for my trip and included the travel-size of this gel cleanser, which is lovely.

5 – Evolvetogether Hydrating Hand Cream. I discovered Evolvetogether during COVID when everyone was hunting for decent face masks, and they delivered. Eventually, I got curious about their other products and ordered 2 tubes of their hand cream. It’s perfect! It absorbs quickly, hydrates without feeling greasy, and the scent is light enough that I don’t think twice about using it when I’m out on the go. I still love my Corpus hand cream, but the fragrance is pretty strong, so I use it at home now because I know some people are bothered by scent.

6 – Olaplex N0 4D Clean Volume Detox Spray. I ran out of my dry shampoo while on vacation this month, so I stopped into a local shop and picked up this one. Imagine my surprise when I liked it better than the one I’ve been using for 4 years! The scent is milder, and it doesn’t make my hair look dusty like it has powder in it. Oh, the things you learn on vacation!

7 – Sunsuede Sunscreen and Blurring Primer. The team at Eadem sent me this sunscreen and blurring primer to try, and I love it! I’ve used it every day on the backs of my hands and forearms because I keep it in my purse for all-day touch-ups. My husband used it all over his face, etc., which is likely what it’s intended for. It goes on clear, isn’t greasy, and simply disappears into the skin, leaving no white cast.
Have you found any new favorites this month?

Have you received your travel size Dyson yet?
Wondering what you think of it and really wanting to invest in one
Great and helpful post again
Thank you
No yet, it’s on the way. I’ll let you know!
I have a question about the Eadem Sunsuede. I had heard that sunscreen sticks are difficult to use because they don’t blend well, and that they should be used for re-application only because they don’t lay down enough product to give the stated level of protection. A stick would be really handy to fly with (not have to put in a TSA bag) or just being able to have in a handbag and not worry about it exploding. As a rule, I find Korean sunscreens top notch. Did you find it gave you good protection?
All fabulous points about TSA etc. I reapplied throughout the day and felt very protected. It was hot and I was wearing sleeveless tops, perspiring a lot, yet no sign of sun burn etc so I think it’s pretty effectiove.
I have been looking at the Josef Seibel sandals and am taking the plunge. They look so cute on you, and there are definitely times I don’t want sneakers or a slide.
The comfort is beyond for me, and I love the tiny boost in height I get.
Hi Jennifer – I’m quite interested in the Eadem sunscreen stick. The brand is now available on Amazon Canada, but they don’t carry the sunscreen – bummer!
That’s a shame! I bet they will soon. I really love how smooth it goes on.
