Weekend Reading 09.13.25
I’ve been spotting some colored leaves on the ground, so the cool weather can’t be too far off. A third layer is becoming a constant for me, which makes it my favorite time of year.

Here’s what I wore to a casual dinner yesterday. What I loved about this outfit is: my blazer, which I’ve worn a ton, and I hope that Eileen Fisher will make a few more color ways. I also loved the fun pop of color from my loafers. Would you have guessed that navy, black, and raspberry can coordinate?
As always, I’m sharing a round up of some of the better sales this week, as well as the most popular items from this week’s posts. A reminder that when you shop through the links in my post, it supports my business, and doesn’t cost you any additional charges. I’m so glad you’re here and a part of this community, I hope you all enjoy a wonderful weekend.

When I was still knitting, it was best for me to have a simple pattern going like a prayer shawl or a plain scarf when working in a cable stitch pattern. That way I could relax my mind and listen to a book or TV show and still knit without looking at it constantly and counting. Tow projects would actually get done and I wouldn’t get frustrated. I’m guessing that kick flares are the same as boot cut. I have two pairs and they look the same as the picture. Have a peaceful weekend Jennifer.
I like the flared pants and wish more pants were made that way.
I like jjill but have some items just don’t hold up.
Today I am enjoying Vancouver and wishing we had a home here!
Thanks for always showing a variety of clothes. It makes shopping easier.
I love your outfit! Black, navy and raspberry really go together well. I want to try it.
Happy to hear bootleg pants are back! As a petite woman, the bell bottom cut isn’t flattering on me.
Thanks for the great selection of fall clothing! I purchased the Chico’s suede moto after seeing it on your blog! I love it.
