What I’ve Bought on Amazon Lately And Recommend for the Spring Sale
Amazon sales always sound exciting, but I’ve learned to keep my pulse low and my standards high. The best things I buy there are rarely the trendy, blink-and-you-missed-it deals. They’re the items that make my life easier, more comfortable, or a little better organized.
So instead of sharing a random roundup of Amazon Spring Sale Finds 2026, I’m sharing things I actually use, genuinely like, and, in some cases, have repurchased many times. Some are small, practical finds that don’t seem all that interesting, but those are often the ones that end up being the most helpful. Not very glamorous, perhaps, but then neither is a drawer organizer until you need one.
My Best Amazon Purchases for Spring 2026
Tankini Swimsuit
I bought this Younique Swim Suit several years ago, and it’s remained one of my favorites. There’s no denying the convenience of a tankini over a one-piece.
If you’re in the market for a new swimsuit, this is one I genuinely recommend. It gives you coverage where you want it without looking or feeling matronly. More importantly, it’s comfortable enough to let you enjoy yourself instead of constantly adjusting your suit every five minutes. It comes in sizes up to 22 and is available in several other colors.
ECCO Flowt 2 Band Sandal

I’ve been wearing and loving these sandals for years. The ECCO Flowt 2 Band Sandal is one of my favorites when I want something comfortable that still looks current. I own two identical pairs, so I can keep one in our Vancouver condo, which is probably the clearest sign of approval I can give. ECCO is known for support, and you notice it as soon as you slip them on.
Ultrabraid Visor
I bought this large-brimmed visor the other day, and I really like it. It’s lightweight, easy to throw on, and perfect for sunny days with UPF 50. It actually rolls up and can be thrown into your bag easily.
Brixton Short Brim Hat
Another item that I’ve bought two of is this packable Brixton sun hat. It’s a great neutral color and goes with everything, and has a decent-sized brim for sun protection. I wear a small, but if you order one and it’s too loose, I recommend these hat size adjuster strips.
Warner’s Bras

I own both of these Warner’s bras that are on sale: No Side Effects Underarm-Smoothing Comfort Wireless Lightly Lined Bra and their Cloud 9 Super Soft Wireless Lightly Lined Comfort Bra 1269. They have straps that adjust in the front while you’re wearing them, which I think is simply genius!
Amlactin Foot Cream
Now’s the time to make sure you’re taking care of your feet before sandal season. I’ve gone through at least seven tubes of AmLactin Foot Repair. It works, plain and simple. My husband wouldn’t be without it now. I use it at night, and it helps keep my heels from drying out.
Beauty by Earth Self Tanner
This Beauty By Earth self-tanner has 22,000k+ reviews on Amazon, yet I’d never heard of the brand. It lives up to my cruelty-free and clean standards, so I bought some to try, and I love it! I bought the fair to medium, and it also comes in medium to dark.
It goes on easily and has not left a single streak. I noticed a light sunscreen scent that’s not unpleasant, which dissipates after it dries. I also ordered these drops, which I add to my moisturizer, and they work great, too! Beauty by Earth now has a pretty extensive line. I’m impressed enough to experiment with some of their other products, like their exfoliating gloves and maybe this application brush.
No Show Invisible Elastic Belts
I discovered these little no-show elastic belts several years ago, and now I own them in several colors. They’ve become indispensable. This is one of those small things that solves several annoying problems at once. It helps with that gap in the back of jeans and pants, keeps them from sliding down if you have narrow hips, and smooths the zipper and snap area so it’s less likely to rub holes in your tops. Best of all, it does the job without adding bulk under your clothes. P.S. I wear the buckle off-center to reduce any bulk in front.
GrandeBROW Eyebrow Serum

If your brows aren’t what they used to be, you’re not imagining it. Mine have definitely thinned over time, and my latest Thyroid medication change has wreaked havoc on them. I’ve tried a few different brow serums over the years, but I keep coming back to this GrandBROW because it seems to work the best for me, and the brush is small enough for me to draw it exactly where I want the hairs to grow back.
Necklace Separator

So many of you bought these necklace separators after I shared them last time that I had to order them. If you’ve ever tried layering necklaces and ended up with one giant knot by lunchtime, this is for you. It keeps each necklace in place so everything lies the way it’s supposed to. Such a simple fix, but it makes a big difference.
Callous Pads

I’ve been having a ton of foot issues, and these callous pads have been so helpful for protecting the little plantfibras growing on my soles. They’re also great for preventing rubbing on tender spots. They add a little cushion right where you need it, which can make a big difference when you’re breaking in shoes, doing a lot of walking, or just have foot issues.
Flameless Taper Candles with Remote Timer

Flameless Taper Candles with Remote Timer
We ordered these flameless taper candles after seeing how realistic they looked at our daughter’s home. I love the atmosphere candles create, but I don’t always want to deal with the mess or worry about leaving them burning. These flameless taper candles give you that same cozy feel, and the remote makes them so easy to turn on and off. Perfect for everyday use, not just special occasions. We’ll be using them in our bronze, antique wall sconces, which used to drip real wax all over the floors!
Continuous Glucose Monitoring

My fasting blood glucose levels were rising, so my doctor suggested I try one of these monitors. I downloaded the free Stelo app and simply applied this continuous glucose monitor to the back of my upper arm. It gives you real insight into how your body reacts to food and daily habits. I’ve learned that simple carbs cause a bigger blood sugar spike than ice cream and that if I have a small amount of protein first, it does not spike!
Memory Foam Orthotics Insoles

With my foot issues, my doctor also recommended these orthotic insoles. I bought a pair for both my husband and me until I get custom ones. They really do make a surprising difference in how your shoes feel by the end of the day. These add a good amount of extra cushioning and support.
Clothes Minded: Fashionable Essays About Finding Yourself

Clothes Minded: Fashionable Essays About Finding Yourself
I’m loving this little book. It doesn’t offer instructions on what to wear, but it weaves together fashion, memory, and identity in a way that feels thoughtful, honest, and sharply observed. Drawing on her career at Calvin Klein, Christine Morrison reflects on the many ways clothing intersects with who we are. It’s relatable, intelligent, and refreshingly free of fashion nonsense. You can see all of my other recent book recommendations here: The Best New Books to Read This Spring 2026.
Fabric Shaver

This fabric shaver is one of my favorite little tools for instantly making clothes look better. If you have sweaters or knits that are starting to pill, this cleans them up in minutes. It’s like giving your clothes a second life.
Rotating Makeup Organizer

I’ve bought multiples of this rotating makeup organizer because they don’t last forever, but they’re so helpful. I have a very small medicine cabinet, so this helps to get everything off the counter. I like that I can organize everything so I can actually see what I have without digging through a bathroom drawer.
Squatty Potty

Okay, not the most exciting thing to talk about, but it works. A squatty potty is one of those practical items people try and then wonder how they lived without it. My daughter convinced us we needed one, and she was right. We bought a heavy wood one, thinking it would look better, but I wish we had bought this one instead.

I love the practicality of this post & all the great suggestions! Let me add Retro Clean, a powder soaking agent to get out old or difficult stains. It removed yellowing & stains on my grandma’s vintage hand-embroidered pillowcases & also soot stains on bedding that got damaged in our house fire. I used the “sit out in the sun” method for best results.
Great tip Shirley!
I can vouch for Warners bras and the no show belts!
I have been wondering about the glucose monitors…
To all of the special ladies out there – as the world sometimes feels like it is spinning out of control, I have found it very refreshening to compliment friends and even strangers. You never know what someone is going through and I think it is special to give kindness, it does not have to be a lengthy conversation, just a “That haircut looks really good on you.” ” That color compliments you” ! I am not saying this to “toot my own horn”, but I make this a daily practice. Try it !
Thank you Jennifer for your inspiration ideas, we appreciate you !
Thank you Doris! I agree with you
I saw your Brixton straw hat and unable to buy that one but found a good match for $25! I bought it! I had a little money left on a gift card which paid half and now I will have new Panama hat for this intense heat and sun. Today will be 90 degrees. Friday will be 46 degrees. Hard to know what to wear with yo-yo weather. The movers are packing up my family room and three storage closets right now. The demo starts tomorrow morning on the water damaged floors. Sad because we just put these floors in three years ago.
Hang in there Sydney…water damage is so stressful.
I have always liked Lands End, and Warner bras are what I wear now. They are so comfortable! I am going to try that brow cream as my brows are so sparse at age 78! thank you for the great hints!
I have used RapidLash or Babe Lash serum for years on my eybrows and my eyelashes. I know it says upper eyelashes only but I put it eyebrows, upper and lower lashes. I think it really helps. My eyebrows are positively bushy, my hair stylist waxes them and trims them for me. My eyelashes are good too, they were going away before I started using it. I am excited about the Grand Hair Serum Jennifer posted, my hair is thinning on top. I just started using that too.
Hi –
for some reason (maybe because I have already tried/use several of these based on your recs!) today’s post resonated with me!
But I find it a bit ironic, that a post eluded to w: “No impulse purchases here” is making me “impulsively” feel like I NEED those darn M. Gemi lattice sneakers!!!
Anyway – thanks!
Because you ask for comments/suggestions, mite I also suggest Kerasal Intensive Foot Treatment? I discovered it when dealing w painful heel cracks. I have recommended to others with “This stuff is amazing” comments back. Old, cheap, works……… my kind of product!
PowerSteps were recs from my podiatrist too, for plantar fasciitis, & I now have them in several pairs of shoes all the time, AND ALWAYS make sure I have a pair with me when traveling! I dont check EVERY pair of shoes that I buy to make sure they will fit in, but I sure do w any that I envision walking in for any extended lengths of time!
I enjoy your blog so much!
Lol, they’re great sneakers:). I’ll check out the Kerasal. Keeping my feet in good shape feels like a full-time job these days/
Thank you for all the great suggestions! I purchased the tankini, necklace separator (I never knew one existed), and the squatty potty. I’d been following this non-glamorous, but highly recommended product for a long time, and the price is right. I also purchased Ilia eyeshadow and the multi-stick you suggested. I have come to trust your fashion, beauty, and everyday-use necessities implicitly. Dressing casually but chicly and nicely has never been my strong point, which is why, at age 73, I enjoy your newsletter. I retired from professional nursing at age 71, so no more scrubs in my closet.
I’d be surprised if you didn’t like the squatty potty. My husband kept avoiding ours, but once he tried it, he was amazed!
Good morning! I went to buy the insoles, but they were only offered in men’s sizes.
Yes, just calculate mens to womens
I love your suggestions and have bought several of them from past roundups: both styles of bras for me, the rotating makeup organizer, and a purse mirror with lights and travel jewelry case not seen in this roundup. The clear makeup organizer was a big hit with everyone who got one as a gift, including a man who enjoys a collection of fine shaving creams and balms and a student living in shared accommodation. It’s nice to have some practical gift ideas.
Hello! I used to be a big fan of GrandeBROW Eyebrow Serum until I noticed some irritation – and not just with the cost of the product! It’s spendy for sure.
For me, it was in fact the Orbital Fat Loss that some users experience. The slow but eventially noticable “sunken” or hollow-looking eyes” caused by the loss of fat around the eye socket, which can lead to a prematurely aged appearance. Honestly, just a few months ago stopped using it- tossed what I had and now use The Orginary for brows. More pocket friendly for $ure. So far, no side effects. Fingers crossed!
I’ve only heard of that issue with the lash products. Glad you like the one by Ordinary.
I’m interested in trying the No Make-up Make Up but I’m so clueless in color matching. I always like to buy instore so associate can help me. Does any store carry it so I don’t have to buy online?
It’s not in any stores that I’m aware of, sorry.
Hi, Jennifer. Thanks for the recommendations. I just ordered the callus pads and the makeup organizer. I can also give the flameless candles a big thumbs up. Between having 2 curious cats that don’t understand that fire will hurt them and wanting to avoid all the food-scented candles that set off my food cravings my house has been candle free for several years. I love the ambiance of candlelight and missed having it, so my husband bought me the set you shared and a set of different sized flameless pillar candles as one of my anniversary gifts last October. They have all seen frequent use since. I hope you have a great day.
I hadn’t thought of the safety issue for cats! Great point
Some great suggestions. You look great in a swimsuit, great choices. Love the hats. However, I don’t love the big leg pants choices. Doesn’t the self-tanner stick to any imperfections on your body. I have get to find one that doesn’t. Love your posts
