Chico’s Early Fall 2025 Collection: Part 2

I’m back for Part 2 of my Chico’s early fall try-on. As I shared yesterday, I spent quite a lot of time in Chico’s checking out the new fall collection and will be sharing a few more of the items I found.

While there are lots of options in the store, I’m sharing what works best on my body and for my lifestyle. A friendly reminder that when you shop, I always appreciate if you can do so by clicking the links in my post. This supports my business, and I am so happy you’re here.

COLORBLOCK CARDIGAN size 1 / COLORBLOCK SWEATER TANK size 1 GIRLFRIEND KICK FLARE size 0.5

First up, I tried on a simple casual combo. This colorblock cardigan and sweater tank are in a black/ecru combo. It’s nice to have the ivory near your face if black seems harsh on your complexion. These both have very high reviews on the website and seem like versatile workhorses in a fall wardrobe. The fabric feels soft and has a high-quality, elegant feel. I absolutely loved this twinset.

I’m styling them with these Girfriend Kick Flare jeans. They do have an unfinished hem, but it doesn’t show in my photo. Cropped kick flare is a petite-friendly option for many women with a 26″ inseam in regular, and of course, the petite is even shorter with a 24″ inseam.

SUEDE CROPPED JACKET size 1 / GIRLFRIEND FRAYED FLARE size 0.5

My tee seems to be sold out in this spruce shade, but they do have a 3/4 sleeve version here. The navy cropped suede jacket is buttery soft and feels incredibly luxurious. It’s a nice stretch fabric (again, not animal suede) that gives a luxe look and feel. It has a button front and patch pockets…which continue to be a huge trend on pants and jeans for fall.

These Girlfriend flare jeans fit beautifully and are available in petite, regular, and tall. This is a regular length that drapes a bit on my foot, but would be the length I prefer with a low-heeled bootie.

PEPLUM POPLIN SHIRT size 1 on left / BRIGITTE SLIM PULL-ON PANTS size 0.5 / NO-IRON POCKETED TUNIC SHIRT size 1 on right

These are the Brigitte slim pull-on pant in deep spruce, which has a slightly narrower leg than the Juliet above. On the left is the Peplum Poplin Shirt, which is almost sold out. It’s a great figure-flattering shape, so hopefully they will make other shirts in the silhouette. On the right is a long Pocketed tunic. It has a high-low hem that dips down in the back to totally cover your backside. This dramatic piece would be fabulous over jeggings or leggings, and is also available in black.

BUTTON FRONT CARDIGAN JACKET size 1 / JERSEY KNIT SQUARE-NECK TANK size 1 / EMME STRAIGHT ANKLE PANTS size 0.5

This jersey knit tank has a square neckline and is color coordinated with the other pieces in the collection. This is a 95% cotton with 5% spandex, so it feels cooler than the microfiber and a bit heavier. It will layer beautifully under so many things or look polished on its own. It comes in 6 colors, and I’m wearing Smokey Taupe. The button front cardigan jacket is also in smokey taupe, which is one of my favorite neutrals they carry. It’s a soft rayon blend that’s machine washable and feels great against the skin. It also comes in a soft sage green.

These Emme straight leg ankle pants are great! It’s a new style for Chico’s, made from the “brigitte” fabric with a fly front with two buttons, belt loops if you want to add a belt, real pockets in the front, and faux welt pockets in the back. These come in 4 colors, and I’m wearing black. I predict these will be very popular going forward because they have a polished look, but are as comfy as can be.

After two very different shopping experiences, I came home reminded that style is personal. Some of these Chico’s pieces from the fall 2025 collection felt fresh and flattering, while others I left behind without a second thought. That’s the value of a try-on—you see what really works for your body and lifestyle instead of relying on what’s styled in the catalog.

If you’re curious about Chico’s new arrivals for fall (especially if you’re over 60 and want style that feels modern but wearable), I hope this gives you a clearer picture. Have you been into Chico’s lately? Did anything from their fall collection catch your eye?

  1. These try on sessions are SO helpful. I’ve come to rely on them! Thanks for doing all the work. Know it takes time and effort.
Hope all is well with fraxel . 🤞❤️

I feel like my luck comes and goes with Chico’s. I do love the fit on their pants, I just wish more of them had some cotton or viscose in them to make them more breathable. I’m done with all polyester! Last year was kind of fun because I was able to shop in five different states over the course of four months and each store was a little bit different in what they carried. I did buy quite a bit and had some very helpful salespeople.
I do wish I was able to view all of my purchases in my online account. I know they track it, why can’t I see it. I would then be able to order correct sizes online instead of only when I can shop in store. I appreciate your recommendations.

IN THE PICTURE, THE COLOR BLOCK TWIN SET DOES NOT LOOK AS IF THE TANK IS THE SAME COLOR ALTHOUGH LOOKING AT THE INDIVIDUAL ARTICLES THE MATCH IS BTTER.

    1. They match perfectly

  4. I love Brigitte pants! They fit me really well and are comfortable to wear all day. I haven’t tried the Juliette as yet but I will try them. You looked adorable in the peplum white shirt! Chicos has a lot of great clothes this coming fall season. Thank you for the double try ons.

    1. I agree, they have some terrific clothes this season!

  5. I love that sweater jacket on you. I went online and found the same taupe color in the Emme pants, too. I’m going to Chicos to try them on. I love Chicos and along with Talbots; they make up most of my wardrobe.

  6. I really like the cardigan jacket and hope that they come out with some more colors. The peplum shirt looks so nice on you! I bought several of their no-iron shirts and I love how they’re wash and wear. Thanks for showing us some of Chico’s new fashions!

Thanks for the review, I will be going to the store soon.
Please give a review on the balm your daughter likes. After reading the reviews I will wait to hear what you think. Some people did not like the product at all.

  8. I did a big shopping trip this summer, and Chico’s was my last stop. I almost didn’t go in because the clothes don’t fit my European Chic style adjective. I was surprised to find 100 percent linen shirts for a ridiculously low price. I bought three. I guess it pays to never write off a brand. You never know what’s lurking inside that storefront!

  9. I liked these selections. The jacket sweater and color block sweater set are really nice! I may have to place an order!

  10. Thanks for a great try-on. I’m about the same size as you so it helps me know what size to order. I’ve been hesitant to buy much online lately because the colors can be hard to gauge. The Elle pants look like classic trousers and the dark spruce looks like a useful dark neutral. In your opinion is Smokey Taupe neutral enough for someone with a warm palette? I really like the look of the cardigan and tank you showed us.

    1. I think so. It seems cool to me but I’ve learned that neutrals can be flexible.

  11. I really like the sweater sets. We have a nice Chicos downtown here. I love their jewelry but they don’t carry petites. I’ll have to look online. You really do do the work for us.

  12. I have one pair of frayed-bottom jeans but have been cutting the threads off. I’ve never been a fan of tunics b/c sitting on them results in wrinkles. I guess I’m looking for a cleaner, neater look this fall. BTW, does your Chico’s actually have Petite sizes in the store?

    1. Very, very few petites. Most of mine are purchased online

  13. Just ordered the Emme pant in black in two sizes. I usually wear petites but thought I would try the regular length to wear with booties. I had been looking at this pant since they came out but was undecided. Thank you for the recommendation.

    1. I really liked it so I hope you do too.

    Jennifer,
I am hit and miss with Chico’s. LOVE seeing your try ons as many of their items do not have ‘hanger’ appeal for me.
I need to keep my mind more open when I go in.
Love your blog as it came highly recommended by Beth Djamal.
Good decision on my part to follow.
Great health to you and enjoy the weekend.

    1. Welcome, Melissa. Beth is amazing!

  15. I love the two tone twin set, it looks so good

    1. It is and if I needed another twin set, it would have come home with me 🙂

  16. I walked in and out of my local store quickly. The displays and styles seemed uninspiring and quite frankly, frumpy, although you found a few gems. I especially like that twinset. I will take another look next month. Thanks for the try ons.

  17. I love the pocket tunic shirt! Also the black and white set is right up my alley.

  18. You make my life easier because I can look at the new fashions and visualize myself wearing or not.
    Thank you

  19. Hi I havent purchased any clothing from Chicos lately but i did get quite a few necklaces from their last sale! Thanks for doing what you do!
