Weekend Reading 08.23.25
I’ve become a matcha latte fanatic of late. It does have a slightly grassy flavor which is an acquired taste, but honestly, I like it. I’m listening to this book again, which has lots of great things to say about the health properties of all teas.
We’re due for a nice sunny weekend, but I’ll be either hanging out at home after my Fraxel or wearing a facemask and giant hat to go out. So far, I’m just swollen, but she told me to expect that for at least a week to ten days. I am icing my face and will try to take it easy. Not to mention, no exercise for at least four days!

Surprisingly no. They put numbing cream on. I am quite swollen and look like Marlon Brando in the Godfather movie this morning tho 😂

Before I started following you, my fashion icon for the last 45 years has been SJP. While I was never able to pull off her incredibly layered and mismatched outfits they were always my inspirations. I never missed checking what she wore to the Met Gala. And I am the proud owner and wearer of a navy maxi length silver star stuffed tulle skirt and a wonderful knockoff of that Burberry poncho (I almost pulled full price for). Thank you for your wonderful homage to Carrie Bradshaw. Truly the best fashion move she made was inserting into all her contracts that she got to keep the clothing!
