Musing On What’s Still In Stock at the 2024 Nsale

Last week we drove south to the Flagship store in downtown Seattle. The following day, we drove out to the gorgeous one in Bellevue Square, and then stopped at the Lynnwood Nordstrom because I wanted to check out a few other stores. Covering this sale is mandatory for my business, but it’s also my favorite department store so I’m delighted to check out new locations. Each had many of the same items, but since the stores stock what is expected to be popular in their area, their offerings do differ. Much of what I tried on is already sold out, which is frustrating on many levels… Here’s what’s still in stock at the 2024 Nsale that I tried on last week.

This Vince sweater is buttery soft, which I did not expect because it has wool in it. I’m wearing it in charcoal, and it also comes in deep navy, plus a soft brown that they call Nile. I sized up to a medium here, but the small fit me as well. This is a great value for $159, and after the sale, it goes up to $245.These black straight-leg jeans are obviously several inches too long for me but I really loved them, so I ordered the petite in blue. They also come in a soft gray, which I love for fall so I’m still considering them.

Here’s the same Vince sweater in deep blue worn with the same straight-leg jeans in grey. I topped them with this Vince off-white cotton, chore jacket. It has nice raglan sleeves and a cropped length that will be great with all the wider-leg jeans I’m seeing so much of for fall. This jacket also comes in the same coastal navy as the short-sleeved sweater.

This classic Faherty Flannel shirt is incredibly soft and stretchy. The fabric is 48% viscose, 47% Supima® cotton, 5% elastane and it feels amazing on. It was in short supply at this store so I’m wearing a L but could also wear a M. I’m wearing it under this Halogen long open front cardigan in the prettiest indigo blue. They make quite a few knitwear pieces in this blue which I am loving.

Travis Mathew is a new discovery for me. Their workout clothes are incredibly soft, and this blue is stunning so they’re selling out fast. I tucked the sweatshirt into the joggers so you could see their shape. I could have gone up a size in the joggers, but the top is perfect for me.

Zella has some great pieces on sale. This skirt is sold out, but I have it on a wish list, so I’ll be notified when it restocks. The XS is too snug and I need the small. I love this sort of elevated athleisure look and can see this worn with black tights and booties when the weather has cooled off. The reversible vest comes in 3 colors and is a great layer for fall. This M was too large, so I’d need the S.

This hybrid Zella jacket comes in ivory or black. The body is quilted, and the rest of it is a knit rib. It’s partially lined with recycled polyester fill but still feels lightweight. I’m wearing it over these pocket joggers and pima cotton tee with drawstring hem, in ‘grey thunder’, which looks like soft green to me. I love some of the new colors for athelisure this fall.

This relaxed Caslon knit blazer is a great piece for fall! It comes in 6 great colors and is so comfy on. Knit blazers feel like a cross between a cardigan and a jacket which are easy to wear and look polished. I’m wearing it over this Halogen sleeveless sweater with an all over rib. I always size up in rib sweaters to prevent muffin top. These are the same Wit & Wisdom straight jeans I’ve shown above, but this time in petite which fit so much better.

This Vince pointelle sweater is a very pretty piece for now and into the fall. It comes in white or navy in a predominantly cotton yarn. I paired it with these Open Edit wide leg pants in cobalt blue. They’re a flat front trouser with on seam pockets and 5% spandex for comfort. These come in 5 great colors. The cobalt is also made in a coordinating relaxed fit blazer and tailored vest.

This Rains long rain Coat is waterproof and has a hood making it super useful when you really need protection. It also comes in Olive plus both colors in a shorter jacket version here.

These Kut From The Kloth boyfriend jeans fit beautifully. They have a nice laid back look but aren’t heavily distressed or look sloppy the way some do. I’m wearing a petite which is the perfect length for me plus I can fold up the cuff for a shorter look.
